Direct-acting pregnancy termination, or EDTP, represents about 50 percent to 80 percent of all births with low-income parents.
The study included 18,844 completed EDTP data from 3,051 PARP-TP participants.
Eligible women also fulfilled one and only one of the 20 societal needs, defined as 75 criteria related to family planning such as family size, household income, education, number of children on school and family status.
